Kiosk is a first-person simulation horror game where players step into the role of a night shift worker at a roadside fast food kiosk. What begins as a routine job—grilling meat, slicing ingredients, and serving drinks—soon shifts into something more unsettling. Customers arrive at the window one by one, placing their orders in monotone voices, with small talk that starts to feel a bit too specific. As the hours pass, the silence around the kiosk grows heavier, and the shadows outside start to move differently than they should.
Gameplay focuses on preparing food accurately and quickly using a set of kitchen tools: a knife for chopping, a grill for cooking, and machines for drinks and coffee. Each customer has specific requests, and fulfilling them keeps the shift moving. However, subtle clues begin to appear in the form of customer comments, leftover items, or strange notes left behind. Tension builds not through direct threats, but through inconsistency—ingredients go missing, power flickers, and strange sounds come from behind the kiosk walls. With each shift, players can choose to focus on tasks or investigate the growing mystery behind the disappearance of the previous employee.
Kiosk offers three distinct game modes: story, endless, and rest. Story mode guides players through a slow-burn mystery, where dialogue and objects gradually reveal what happened before their arrival. Endless mode focuses on efficiency, challenging players to serve as many customers as possible under pressure, with a ranking system to track performance. Rest mode strips away time pressure, letting players explore the kiosk and its tools freely. Across all modes, the game invites players to pay close attention—not everything is obvious, and those who listen closely to customers may uncover something hidden beneath the surface of this quiet roadside stand.
