Game description:

Meccha Chameleon is an online multiplayer hide-and-seek game where players are divided into two teams: Hiders and Seekers. The game does not have a traditional story campaign with characters, dialogue, or scripted missions. Its main idea is based on camouflage. Hiders try to survive until the timer ends, while Seekers search the map and try to identify every hidden player before time runs out.

Painting as the Main Mechanic

The main gameplay feature is body painting. Hiders begin as plain white characters and use a paint tool to copy colors, shapes, and patterns from the stage. Instead of turning into objects like in many prop-hunt games, players stay as their own characters and must make themselves look like part of the environment. Good hiding depends on choosing the right surface, matching colors, and holding a pose that does not attract attention.

Teams, Timer, and Match Flow

A round starts with the team split. Hiders get time to prepare, paint their bodies, and choose hiding spots. Seekers then enter the map and inspect walls, floors, props, corners, and suspicious shapes. The Hiders win if they stay undiscovered until the timer runs out. The Seekers win if they find and eliminate all Hiders before the match ends.

The game includes these main elements:

  • Online multiplayer hide-and-seek matches
  • Two teams: Hiders and Seekers
  • A painting tool for body camouflage
  • White characters that can be recolored
  • Stage-based hiding spots and visual patterns
  • Posing as part of the hiding strategy
  • Public matches and streaming support

Maps Built for Camouflage

Meccha Chameleon does not use story levels or campaign chapters. Its levels are multiplayer maps designed around hiding and searching. Each stage contains surfaces, objects, shadows, colors, and patterns that Hiders can use for camouflage. A good hiding place is not always the darkest corner. Sometimes it is a wall, floor section, sign, object edge, or background detail where the painted character can blend in.

To play Meccha Chameleon, join a match and follow the role assigned to your team. As a Hider, study the map, paint your character to match the area, choose a pose, and avoid unnecessary movement. As a Seeker, scan the environment carefully, look for shapes that do not fit, and check areas where a player could be hiding in plain sight. The game is built around observation, color matching, timing, and visual deception rather than a fixed plot or linear progression.
